Gorilla Hunt

A cute voxel party game for 1 to 8 friends. Everyone wants the gorilla. Only one of you gets the kill.

You drop onto a tropical volcano island with nothing but a spear. Somewhere out there is a gorilla, and a tracker pings where it is every 20 seconds. Stab, trap, and spear your friends along the way if you want, but there's only one way to win: land the killing blow on the gorilla.

Die once and you're out. You float off to heaven as a little bedsheet ghost and spectate whoever's left.

🌊 The island fights back

• The gorilla outruns you. Corner it, ambush it, or throw your spear and pray.
• It heals by eating bananas, so steal them first.
• Hit it hard enough and it enrages: it roars, grows, and charges.
• Every 3 bananas, it… squats. And throws what it makes. At you.
• A flood rises in phases and shrinks the dry land, like a battle royale storm.

🗡️ Your tools

• Stab, lunge, and spin attack up close
• Charged spear throw from range (then go pick it back up)
• Hole traps you dig and hide. They stun whoever steps in, hunter or gorilla.
• Bunny hop to build speed, or crouch to sneak through the jungle, where the tracker gets scrambled

🎮 Modes

• Free for All: every hunter for themselves
• 2v2v2v2 and 4v4: whoever gets the kill, their whole team wins
• Party: blue vs red, with revive tents and no flood
• Gorilla vs Hunters: one friend becomes the gorilla
• Ranked: climb the tiers from Bronze to Silverback

No friends online? Play solo or fill any open slots with bots.

👥 Playing with friends

One player hosts and shares a room code. Everyone else types it in and joins. Windows and Mac play together.
